Why settle for just one tale of forbidden love? Maryland Shakespeare Festival presents Love’s Labour’s Lost and its five unlikely couples! Join favorites from the professional company and many new faces for this rule-breaking comedy performed in the no-rules Bare Bard format.
And what is a Bare Bard? As part of Maryland Shakespeare Festival’s ongoing experiment on the original practices of Shakespeare’s company of players, the actors will perform with very little rehearsal, trusting instead the strength of Shakespeare’s words and the immediacy of the story to bring the play alive.
Love’s Labour’s Lost appears for two performances only! Saturday, March 27th at 8pm and Sunday, March 28th at 2pm. A discussion will follow Sunday’s performance. No two performances are ever the same, so come twice!
